The service
NIPCY LLC (“we”) operates Chair Count, which provides online event invitations. You choose a design, enter your event details and photos, and pay once to publish a link you share with your guests. Guests can RSVP, and you can see their responses while signed in. Guests only ever see their own RSVP, pass and table, never anyone else's.
Your content is your responsibility
You alone are responsible for everything you put on your invitation: names, dates, times, addresses, wording and photos. We do not check it. Please review your invitation carefully before you share it. You confirm that you have the right to use every photo you upload and that your invitation is lawful. We may remove an invitation that is unlawful or abusive.
Payment
Publishing an invitation costs $19, paid once. Keeping it online for one more year costs $5, paid once each time. The optional Check-in + Seating add-on costs $15 once per event. Payments are processed by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
Refunds
Payments are not refunded automatically. If you believe you should get a refund, email the contact address on this site and a person will review your request. Refunds are at our discretion. Mistakes in content you entered yourself are not, on their own, a reason for a refund, because you can correct them at any time.
How long your invitation stays online
A published invitation stays online until 30 days after the event date you entered. After that it is permanently deleted, together with its photos and RSVPs, unless you have paid to keep it longer. Each payment adds one year. We email the address on your account 14 days and 3 days before deletion, and never delete an invitation less than 3 days after the last reminder. For an event date more than two years after you publish, the clock runs from two years after publishing. Drafts you have not published are not deleted.
Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete any invitation from its editor at any time; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the invitation concerned.
